Security scare at Melbourne’s Government House as shirtless man is arrested on the roof as he tried to break into the building

Crisis administrations swarmed Melbourne’s Administration house after reports a man has attempted to break into the building.

Firefighters and paramedics were remaining by as police made a beeline for the rooftop where a shirtless man was found.

The 37-year-old man, who was unarmed, was gotten by three officers, as others stood monitor close-by.

The policemen stuck the man, who lives in Oakleigh, to the ground and captured him.

A representative for Victoria Police revealed to Day by day Mail Australia the man is accepted to have climbed onto the rooftop at around 7.45am.

‘The man is still on the rooftop, and will be evacuated when it is sheltered to do as such,’ he said.

‘He will then be taken to doctor’s facility for evaluation.’

The man had been inside the building before as he advanced toward the rooftop, however police say he was there ‘for a brief timeframe’, police said.

Police were called following reports of an interloper just before 8am, and the Metropolitan Fire Unit detailed six trucks were at the scene.

Firefighters and police spent around two hours mulling over how to get the man off the rooftop toward the beginning of today.

Extensive firetrucks with stepping stools joined were seen entering the premises around 9.15am.

At around 10am, film from 7News demonstrates the man being intensely limited on to what has all the earmarks of being a red plastic stretcher.

Film demonstrates the man’s jeans were pulled down for his exchange to strong ground.

Four firefighters and one policeman are then observed gradually sliding the man over the rooftop, before ropes are joined to the red stretcher and it is exchanged on to another stretcher.

Around ten firefighters at that point help move the controlled man on to a careful selector, where he is seen gently adjusted on the corner and held set up by two firefighters.

The man is then set on to the stretcher of a holding up emergency vehicle, and a sheet is set over him before he is again controlled.

He was taken to The Alfred Healing center.

An Emergency vehicle Victoria representative said a man was at present being dealt with for minor wounds after paramedics were called around 8am.

Government House is the habitation of Victorian Representative Linda Dessau.

She was not inside the building early today, and is rather abroad on an official visit to Singapore to discuss government, business, condition and culture.

A representative for the Senator disclosed to Day by day Mail Australia the Representative and everybody who works within Government House was sheltered.

On the official Twitter represent the Senator, Ms Dessau communicated her gratitude to crisis administrations for their ‘quick reaction’.
