Man, 82, dies during a fight outside a pub with his 72-year-old friend who he had known for 30 years

A 82-year-old man passed on after a battle outside a bar with an elderly man he had been companions with for a long time.

The long-term mates had been sharing a lager at Queensland’s Bernborough Bar before a fight softened out up the bar’s carpark on Wednesday evening.

The 82-year-old is thought to have ‘tossed a couple of punches’ before his 72-year-old companion pushed him to ground, The Brisbane Times announced.

The more established man endured genuine head wounds because of the fall and kicked the bucket at the scene.

The combine had been companions for more than three decades, as per Channel Nine.

It is trusted the man who passed on was the assailant.

A police representative said examinations are proceeding.

‘Beginning examinations show around 2pm, in the carpark of an authorized premises… the man has fallen over amid a contention with another elderly man,’ the representative said.
